Sorry about the poor picture though!

It was in Brum at lunchtime today, I have a side view shot that I will upload later

I was surprised how small it looked, not much difference in size to a Freelander

Your comment indicates you're expecting it to be bigger than a freelander- the evoque is infact smaller all round. Just FYI :-)

I was expecting it to be a RR Sport size - I was fooled by how small posh spice was!

I saw a white one of these queing to get into Newmarket last bankholiday weekend. Was very surprised to see it in such a busy place, with no camo or anything before it had been released. It was also following a FFRR and they are a lot smaller in comparison.

Not much point in cammoing them since it's been shown in the flesh at Geneva a month or two back.

I've seen several in the last few weeks, with no camo. There's a green one I see all the time on the M62

Dad tells me he's seen one recently and isn't a fan of the styling at all. Like "something has been dropped on the roof". I'm yet to see one in the metal, though from the pictures they actually look quite nice.

I passed one on the M6 last night.

I was at JLR in Gaydon about a month ago and there were loads running about. Some disguised, others standard. They are quite small and with a high shoulder line, the roof looks chopped. Certainly not the prettiest thing out there but the front end looks good and it's nice to see something a little more unusual.

I chatted to several test-drivers and they all commented on how good it was to drive (usual company bravado notwithstanding) and how capable it was off-road, too.

I'm yet to spot one of these buggers. Will make up my mind then

I live a stones throw away from Halewood where they are built and see them getting driven around a lot by employees... I dont particularly like them in the flesh, but they could be like the bangle 5 series where the design grows on you after a while

I saw one today heading north on the M1, vinyl'd up in black and white swirls. I was surprised at the size of it, I thought it was going to be bigger.

Don't know why they're disguising them, they had two undisguised cars at the London Boatshow back in January. I liked it a lot, but I suspect it will be expensive for a decently specced one.

They run disguised ones as a publicity stunt. People spot them and talk about them, witness this thread.

As you say, they are running plenty in undisguised form, we even had one at Sunday Service.

Works though smile
