Amber Gambler?
Discussion
First of all a quick story on why I'm bringing this up.
Just driving to work and I was following a woman in a Clio (not stalking she just happened to be going in the same direction). We approached the lights which were on green and they started to turn orange as they do and we could of both made it across before they went red. Easy.
She was about 5ft away and slammed her brakes right on, and I completely locked up trying to stop. AND when I papped my horn in rage she looked shocked that I was p
d off!
I must of been inches from smashing her back in (
). If I wasn't paying attention we would of crashed for sure.
SO who here goes over on amber and who here slams their brakes on causing people to lock up?

Not quite. You were driving too close.

You MUST stop behind the white ‘Stop’ line across your side of the road unless the light is green. If the amber light appears you may go on only if you have already crossed the stop line or are so close to it that to stop might cause a collision.
The OP probably should have stopped as he had at least two car lengths to do so. trickywoo said:
This isn't going to end well for you OP.
I see this now.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DSlSaGcc0QM
But I was under the impression if you can't stop safely you continue through amber...
Was hardly stopping safely. My point isn't anything else other than that.

She was stopping safely though. If there had been a crash it would have been your fault for not leaving a big enough gap.Was hardly stopping safely. My point isn't anything else other than that.
Anyway, aren't amber gamlers the ones that jump the lights?

Did he hit her?
No.
So, do you have any proof he was too close to her?
No.
How's the weather up there on your horse?
