Vinyl archiving software....
Discussion
Hey guys,
I've just ordered a turntable for myself, as I miss properly *listening* to albums and have decided to build up a small collection of classic albums in this format.
That said, I do enjoy the convenience of digital so would like the option of being able to convert stuff to MP3 for the iPod etc. I've got a Digi 002r interface and a good Macbook Pro and am confident with editing/audio engineering. What I'm not up on though, is what software options exit to automatically split an audio file into tracks, top and tail them and output them without me having to do it by hand (as I'm lazy, and I won't!).
What I'm looking for is:
1. Connect amp to interface
2. Press record/hit play
3. Click 'render' and get all my individual tracks
Is this possible? The closest I've seen is this: http://www.alpinesoft.co.uk/VinylStudio/screenshot... but wondered what other options may exist for OSX?
Thanks...
