Hmmm, interesting night last night.

Car arrived with me yesterday with apparently some heat related misfire problem that another company had failed to find the root cause (despite many hours including a day with the customer) and had had issues mapping it.

After a few minutes checking the ECU I had a pretty good idea of the problem, but wanted to experience the issue myself. So I filled it up with fuel and drove to the rollers. Definitely a problem which got worse on the drive. Hmmm. So at the rollers, while waiting for them to finish the previous car, a few tweaks later and the car was running again. A quick check up the road confirmed that the issue was resolved, so now we could get down to mapping.

Car performed faultlessly on the rollers all evening - about 4hrs - and a quick test drive afterwards confirmed the car was flying and no issues. Good power (very good in fact) and torque, now it's got the right injectors, pump and plugs.

But hey, what do I know...... ask the right people, get the right answers...

There is a very good reason why you are recomended by almost all the people who's noble you work on... anyone considering using a noble tuner must seek existing owners who's car they have worked on IMHO.

...and some of the slower ones! Done 4 years ago (when 450bhp was quite a lot) and hasn't missed a beat since. Really must change those spark plugs one of these years as well.

In Simon's vid it must have taken you a whole lap to get past that pesky M600 from the factory. Must get round to putting some more duty cycle in your wastegate map....

Wastegate duty cycle is the percentage of time the wastegate control valve spends venting air to atmosphere versus sending it to the capsules, forcing them open.
