Dog friendly PH motors?
Discussion
Right, the DaveShark household has a new K9 member, still just a puppy at present. However after Le Mans I am thinking of trading in my Alfa 156 V6 saloon for something a bit more dog-proof, under 3 grand and still sporty and comfy enough for day to day hooning. My immediate thoughts are along the lines of...
Volvo T5
Alfa 156 V6 Sportwagon
Subaru Legacy
Xantia V6 estate??
Are there any other obvious load-luggers that I have overlooked? (no MX5's or chippped 335d's..)
All recommendations from current dog owning PH'ers appreciated.

I am in the same position, except, car change prior to dog! (cream MOMO leather!!)
The Laguna Sport Wagon in GT spec looks good, or Initiale for ALL the toys... there are the 2.2DCi, the 2.0T petrol and the 3.0 V6, all in the region of the £2-£2.5K mark...
The Alfa Sport Wagon is lovely, but with the load cover in place, the boot is actually SMALLER than the saloon...
My other thought was a Legacy, 2.5 or 3.0 H6?...

335d? I hope it's not mapped, or the poor dog will be launched at warp speed through the rear window.
She definitely prefers the Landy! Not mapped but been RR'd at just over 300bhp/435lbs-ft (most are a fair bit over stock figures - as with the 335i) so it's still fairly nippy.
