Was lucky enough to be invited to a demo day at Brunters on Wednesday and had a passenger trip in an Atom. All I can say is they are fecking insane.
The driver was a chap called Andy who lives in Southam - not sure if you know him. He certainly didn't hold back and we were sliding about like a good un. He's a great driver and certainly explored the limits. Was great fun and I'd love one. The TVR is insane but this takes it to another level.
The only downside is the lack of any comforts, ie doors and a boot. Do a few weekends away so not entirely practical but massive fun.

What do you mean not practical? I've taken mine to Le Mans twice now for 5 days and it was fine smile

Glad you enjoyed your time in the Atom, they are fab. Where does the 356 Speedster experience come into it, did you get to drive one of those too?

Didn't drive the Atom - would have killed myself. Just knew you had one and were local. Seen you once or twice by the Morrisons island. It was good fun but a tad too impractical for me and happy with the compromise the TVR's provide.
Didn't drive a 356 either. Not a fan of Ferrari.

Pax ride in an Atom is still good, so glad you had fun.

Not sure what 356 Ferraris you've seen, but usually they're made by Porsche wink

Apologies, don't like Porkers either. To me all Fezza and Porkers look the same. No idea what all the numbers mean.

Didn't mean it offensively. Each to their own really. If we all wanted the same cars it would be a very boring world.
I now know its a James Dean Porsche so slightly more educated. The only Porsche I would consider is a whale tail turbo from the 80's but they are silly money now. Can';t afford any more cars - got 7 between 2 of us!

LOL! What are you like, Dave! I think you need a bigger spoon to stir with wink

While that's not my old car, mine was identical in external appearance. Got loads of pics of it at home and still look longingly at them now frown

Been known to be a tad mischevious/cheeky barsteward myself. Don't obviously know most of you other than from here and know how touchy some people can be so treading carefully. Some of the comments can be read in different ways and I have been on tyhe wrong end of one or two in the past.
Hope to get out on some local runs soon, just really busy with house and personal life, and struggle to fit it all in.
Will go for it with 2 barrels from now on then.
