Paint work restoration

hi, im quite new to the all aspect of this, my car is a v reg so the paint work is past its best, eg. surface sratches, fading ect. what is the best way to bring a bit of life back into it and get rid of a few light sratches ? e.g claybar polish wax. any recommended products or methods ect. would be greatly appreciated

Get some pictures up so we can see what you're dealing with.
Many people sell their car as 'mint condition' only for the paintwork to look like Torvill & Dean use it for practicing on!
