1st Time Poster - Looking For A New Car

Now then,

First time of posting.

Been reading up loads over the last year on which car to get next, currently drive fiesta zetec-S mk6.
Looking for a bigger step up, got about £7500 stretching to 8k to spend.
Kind of looking towards clio 197/cooper s supercharged ... can't go crazy as insurance is still been a bit crap at 22.
Anymore I should consider?

Focus ST
Biggest bang for your buck, insurance wise would be a Vauxhall Zafira VXR 240hp, group 15 insurance.
Skoda Octavia VRS

Insurance at 22 is £500 max for me the others are under £200 per year! My cars are:
1984 Porsche 944 (the £500 insurance car)
1972 Rover P6 V8
1976 MGB GT V8
1966 MGB Roadster

All insured through Lancaster.

If you want a classic you can get cheap insurance for it

Love the megane's but bit too much boomf and insurance. Might scout out a few focus st's.

Another thread mentioned the Mk1 Focus RS having relatively cheap insurance for a young un.

If you cant insure the RS Megane you wont be able to insure an ST.
