Needs a rebuild, gearbox etc but anyone tempted... as a road goer?

good value just for the rolling chassis, donesnt say if the motor is a race engine or a road car engine, if a road motor which i assume due to the cost there is a fair amount of work to get it to fit, including either converting to dry sump or modding the chassis.

Gearbox is no problem as its a T5 as used in everything else.. ( racer had straight cut 5th so a bit noisy for road use)


I cant help thinking it would be a pita on the road though, much better put back on track..

untill it shakes its self to bits, or it starts to rain, or you get stuck in traffic....

I have driven one on the road, and it was a bit larey...

sounds terrible, they sound alot better than that normally.
who's car was it? was he in the west country?

D`ont know who`s car it is but i think the guy used to post on here and was running a rv8 motor he built it for road use then i think he was going to change it back to a race car ,Then for what ever reason did n`t bother.Think also there was a feature on the car in sprint mag.

The car in the advert is not the car in the video.

The advertised car was re-built (from an ex CDL racer)by Phil Bunn (PHer)into a two seat with a Takara spec Rover V8.
It was then sold to another PHer who raced it a time or two then stripped it and sold the engine (to me) and the rest was bought by the chap wo has it for sale at the moment.

There`s to much blue paint around they looked the same car cdl used to have there workshop just down the road to where i live .
