Downlighter mystery

Lighting circuit in bathroom. 3 down lighters, 35w bulbs. Previously all worked, now only 2 work. The circuit is complete at the non working one until the switch is turned on, at which point it breaks. Removing one of the other bulbs makes the last fitting work.

Sounds like you transformer is on its way out and not putting out enough power for all the bulbs to be on at once. You could try putting lower wattage bulbs in but I would be looking at a new trannie. Check the voltage and ampage coming from it and you should be able to work out the power it chucking out.
