Longcross hooning
Discussion
Did a ride drive day on thursday with an hour of semi controlled hooning on the longcross test track in surrey
What a blast
Car performed beautifully except...rear end grip. Rubbish
Its running the hankooks that were on there when i bought it. According to the instructor he did another tuscan that was running avon zz3s all round and it stuck like sh** to the proverbial!
Any advice chaps
(upside was it made dognoughts easy to start, downside it was damned hard to stop it spinning out 360 style in a cloud of smoke

)Hi Nick
Nice to meet you !
Yes, thanks for the feedback on the tyres. I heard you found it nearly impossible to get the back to break out. Sounds like a very different experience to what I had.
What sort of speeds were you hitting round the banked corner ?
Any reason for the Avons ? And how long do they last ?
