I have been searching for a replacement light bulb. This is the park light or some people call it the city light. It is a miniature and says OSRAM 12V 14W 37R (E1) on it. I'm US based and have searched all over the net and local auto parts stores. Does any one have a recommendation? I would guess I could even go with a 10-15 watt if that is all available. My other option is to order two from Ultima but that would be expensive when there may be a compatible replacement offered here in the US.

Thanks, Jim

I searched the net and found that Audi and Volkswagen also uses this bulb. One Audi owner indicated in a forum post that they found a replacement at Autozone, a SYLVANIA bulb that also listed "Euro" on it. I have not been able to find that packaging but I did find a SYLVANIA LIGHT BULB 12V 10W. Part number: 5008LL. I'll do some more searching for the referenced "Euro" bulb but if I can't find it, I'll go with the 5008LL.

Correction: After contacting Ultima Sports to inquire more about the bulb, I was informed that the bulb should be a 12V 4W bulb. This may make sense why I was not able to find a replacement. Ultima Sports thinks a previous owner must have put the 12V 14W bulbs in as replacements at one time. They were E1 so I don't know where they came from. I also learned that although the bulb is located in the top outer headlight lens, it is called a side light.

The term 'Side Lights' or 'Position Lights' is used in the UK and refers to the lights you get from the first position on your light switch. Small white at the front and reds at the back. Don't know what you call them in the US.

go to http://my-car-bulbs.co.uk there you can change the sort function to "sort by bulb position" and check out pictures of all the bulbs it could be and probably get a price and part number too. The bulb is bound to have a common UK application. If it's a Ford or Vauxhall part then you have a great chance of it also being used in a US vehicle.
