Fantastic day, some great and expensive metal and all the better to see them being used!
Nice to put faces to names, too.

And I'm just curious here, but how many of you drove the wrong side of the timing gear and therefore didn't register a speed.....?

Big respect to the VMax crew.

Great day.

There's nothing like thrashing the pants off your car with zero chance of getting nicked for it.

Taking my fettled Q7 V12 to the next one.

I was kindly taken along by Steve (Anniesdad) and had a fantastic time. Everybody I spoke to was unbelievably nice and the cars in attendance were enough to make me go weak at the knees.

Thank you to everybody involved - especially the chap who took me out for a passenger ride in his Carrera GT cloud9

Likewise thanks to Craig and the Vmax team for thei hard work, professionalism and for running a fun and safe day.

Good to meet phers old and new, thanks to jeremyc for gt3ing me (awesome grip!) and to Richard Meaden for the run in the M600.

Hope everyone who asked enjoyed a run in the 'max, and that it added something to the days soundtrack if not to the record books.

Finally thanks to trackdemon for hanging around for extra time to take pics, and for meaning that I will never look at a Honda Jazz the same way again.....

Yep, I'll echo the thanks to everyone!

What a great day. Everyone was really friendly, the atmosphere was really chilled and my passenger ride in the Carrera GT made my day!

Thanks to all those who gave me passenger runs, it was really good of you.

Cheers to Mr Bolton for taking me! and getting drifty as usual smile

Another echo.

Yet again, a fantastic event so a massive thanks to Craig & the VMAX team (& Brunters for hosting).

Highlights were many but it has to be the fact that my 16yr old son who as a treat & break from his GCSE's i decided may like to attend a VMAX has now travelled faster than i ever have. The fastest i've ever been was today in my car at 197mph through the beams (taken me 40 years to achieve that), however my son at 16 has experienced 205mph in the pax seat of the Noble M600 so already has wooped me (thank you ever so much to the generous driver of the Noble).

Hope everyone got home safe & see you at the next one.

good to meet you George, great work by the way (just browsed your portfolio)

Big thanks to all and especially the VMAX team who seem to nail it every time! Also there was a new vmax record set today for 4 up which was certainly entertaining...201mph! in the black Monaro, very stealthy performer indeed

After a sabbatical of a few years, I had a great day and didn't break anything. 20x in the GT-R was the highlight of my day, I'm thinking........

Another brill event Craig.

Thanks to your team and all the rest of you for making the Lexus team so welcome. They got the shots and film they wanted and you'll see the efforts in due course. Ta for all your patience with the odd 'pushing in' moment!!

Phooey. You are a star...and living proof that you CAN meet your heros and NOT come away dissapointed!! (I do have low expectations mind...tongue out)
