Cheers chaps, there's been a lot going on in that tidy garage, the yellow tongue quip (very good)sent a gob full of tea towards the tv, I did manage to find that insulator in there wedg1e and despite two very very very very very stubborn dowels its fitted,Yeh. Next job apart from tidying garage is to transfer bits and bobs from old 64mm plenum onto my shiney 72mm plenum. If the lid wedge ain't ready for bbwf then we'll travel by tango mini instead, will have to invest in ear muffs and a thinner Arse for the bucket seats though.
Twas a pleasure meeting zig and the wedge, there's a story book there somewhere, must do it again sometime.
Wooly.

At least if you hit a pheasant with a rad like that it'll do no damage!

Ha HA HAAAAAAAAA

My 350i has ben sitting in my garage for 15 years (time has gone so quick !).

With the kick start i needed last year from wedg1e, well last week it has been finally finished, MOT, tax and insured.

30 miles later I run out of petrol on a busy bridge (30 secs from the petrol station)

You have to laugh..................

Its been worth it, the car sounds great.

Nice one hotty, did you cause loads of mayhem? You can imagine the coments from drivers when they saw what was causing the hold up.

May this be a learning experience for you all. biggrin

If running out of juice was your only concern when out and about....reckon you'd be well happy though. hehe

It got worse...........

Had to buy a new can £6.35, i have 3 at home laugh

After filling up thought i would give it a blast.....slowly (pass as just running in)

About 30 miles later was on the A500 got stuck in traffic for about a mile (a car had crashed into the barrier, all were OK) but the car started to overheat, had to pull over, a bit off steam and more havoc.

Back driving in 5 mins

Got back home found that i had disconnected the fan rolleyes

Still cannot wait to back in driving
