I have had forza for about 6 months so thourght i would have my first game online tonight, evey time i made progress in the game someone would touch my backend,us me as there brakes or crash into me straight away on the start line!!!! i gave up in the end!
Has it got to the point where everyone has to cheat to win these games now? All the kids pick the insanely fast race cars and spin off at the first corner then when they catch up they take you off with them at the next corner! I might try picking class c cars in future, might get someone that is more interested in driving properly!

It seems to totally depend on who you get, sometimes I've had amazing people race me that are scared to even come near you for fear of crashing. Other times sadly it's what you described which seems to happen all to often.

This is the reason i do not bother with it online.

Entered with a standard Sport Quattro for a few races. Everyone else went straight for LM cars and proceeded to wipe eachother out.

Try the "A-class road racing" you'll still get twunts, but there are many good clean racers, also S-class circuit is good for clean people, but its very difficult to be the same level of other racers. They tend to have regular racers too so you soon know who to watch out for,and who will give you a good run smile
(Watch out for me though, if i punt you off its due to lack of skill rather than being an evil little bd)

Just get a few PHers on the friends list and enjoy private races, alot less hassle, the only time there's contact is when we race bangers or Curry's about wink

Some times you just want a good clean race but like other people have said they are few and far between.Banger racing actually sounds quite good! When is the next banger race?

I haven't touched the career mode for over a year now, I race online at least twice a week, but I can't remember the last time I was in a public lobby.
Once you start racing with like minded people, and join in the banter, it will be a whole different experience.

The only downside is you can't just pick up your controller and play whenever it suits you, it has to be a bit organised.

Last time I was in a public lobby, I think I raced in that mode where everyone has the same car, makes it quite interesting... Other than that, stick to A class expert, as there seems to be the most players in there, so you are bound to find a good lobby for a few races.

I only ever bother racing friends online now. We did have a funny one once where I forgot to set it to private and the above happened when a random joined. So we all spent the rest of the race trying to box him in!

Go for the Cycled Production races - hang back at the first corner, then overtake all of the twunts while they're in the gravel.

What, hit Curry Burns...? nah... never... whistle

Actually I know where you're coming from. Last time I played online I was charging down the long straight on the Le Mans circuit, someone coming up behind and could have very easily passed me. But oh no. He/she/it decides to try push me off the track instead, fail and crashes... mmmmmmm clever. loser

My Xbox username is 'Sp00r' if you fancy a game sometime. I'm a bit crap tbh but at least I try not to hit people, honest smile

This. The cycled production series is some of the best racing on there if you don't know anyone smile

I've recently started online too, and found it a bit like that. But I've also had some amazing close, but fair racing of late - it all depends on who's in the room.
As others have said, the turn 10 select - cycled production seems to have some of the best racing. C class circuit seems to be generally ok. It is frustrating, but I don't really have the time to play arranged races really.

Cycled production races are the way forward. Its the only type of race i do online with forza. Everyone in the same car, no tuning etc so its all about the driver. Some very good close racing to be had.

If you add enough people from PH to your friends im sure you can have a full lobby race each and every night.

You're right really, I should probably go through the wiki and add some.

My technique is to go straight for the side/grass the second the race starts and let everyone past - so many people bin it on the first corner that you can then simply beetle past the spinning cars and wreckage and give yourself a fair chance of having a decent race.
