I noticed that my chimaera 500 chassis plate (driver's side under bonnet) reads GROSS WT 1270kgs - what's that all about, thought they were sub 1100 ?

What do your chassis plates read ?

it has heated seats, for which i can't find any button btw (any clues ?)and PAS but that doesnt make up 200kgs obviously....

You're confusing curb weight and gross weight.

I'm surprised the gross weight is as low as that, actually. Two fat bloaters plus a weekend's luggage would possibly exceed that.

Heated seat button is under the dash on the other side of the steering column from the boot release I think, but since my car doesn't have it I am going on what is said on here. smile

300hp/ton - we wish !!

going up to Power next month for a dyno run - we will see what sort of 500 they built for mine in '98 - and how much it has lost in 27000 miles - then we will see what can be done about it....
