My chimaera has heated seats, but I can't locate the button(s) - where did they generally hide them ?

Mine doesn't have them, but I think it's on the left hand side of the steering column cowl, near the bottom of it. Either that or next to the dashboard light switch, which is to the LHS of the cowl, under the dash.

It's on the right hand side of the steering cowl near where you put in the immobiliser dongle. Same style button as the boot release and dash lights.

Some of them came with heated seats? Not a bad idea for winter hoons, but don't let the medallion and chest wig brigade with their Griffs hear that or they'll be over here quicker than you can say 'golf clubs'. biggrin

Thanks guys - although I'm still struggling. This has led me to a bigger clearish push in/pop out button on the RH of the steering column cowl but does not appear to do a lot.... Bigger than the boot release and gauge lighting buttons....

The heated seats come on whenever they feel like, random !

When on (button pushed in) the seats will cycle on and off presumably under thermostat control.

Early cars require the heater blower knob to be pulled out (or pushed in) ~ so you may be doing it without realizing...
