Refurbing Dampers .with..Black art designs

i was thinking of getting my dampers (3R) refurbed by B.A.D ( black art designs ) as i have a small leak on one of the fronts . I know a few nob owners have had them done there with good results and a lot cheaper than buying them new , i think over £200 each.
Does anyone know how long their turn around is ?

Its best to speak to John as sometimes the bodys are not suitable to refurb as they are thin and if badly corroded they will leak after being cleaned and re anodised/ plated.

Im sure a standard refurb is under 100 quid from memory

It would be best to send in the pair so we can make sure they are a balanced.

We would re-build the unit thats leeking and check against the other...if we found that the rebuilt unit comes up different we may need to do the other side.

If they are the original steel bodied Bilstien units the cost would be £75 for a rebuild plus £25.00 for the gas injector port that we need to weld to the bottom of the unit (see attached photo). We can also have them re-plated additional £25.00 if you wish.
If the piston rods are badly pitted we can replace them, but it may start to tip the balance in favour of a new unit.

Once the gas injector port has been added the rebuild cost would be £75.00 for future reference.

We could make new single adjustable units at £259.50 each
All prices excluding vat and carriage.
