There is a list of ten items for TvR to sort out.

As i drove the car from the garage to the trailer it had a bad misfire probably due to the timing and a dodgy damaged magnecor, and the brakes were very very poor but it was the first time they had been applied on the new discs.
I am sure Track v Road will sort it all out but wether thay manage it by Friday i dont know.
It would be nice to pick it up, go get a tune off Eann then down to Austecs Rolling road on Saturday. Maybe too much to hope for but i have to stay optimistic.

ETA also i had to exit the door dukes of hazard stylee as the door wouldnt open on my mates stupid trailer.

Now a Jensen is another beast I have told the wife " One day you shall be mine "

I bought the van a couple of years ago to convert to a race camper. its coming along ncely with just the interior to finish off now. Mine is the small engined (5.2) version with about 220hp std on TPi. I have just had the old fella machining some spacers to bring the back wheels into the correct position under the flares which came from Rancho Cucamonga in the states.

Pic as bought and now after a full prep and bare metal respray.

They can be had for next to nothing and the bodies are usually sound because yanks tend to use proper thicknesses of metal. People are frightened of them because of the 4-5mpg worse fuel consumption than british vans apparently. Spares are cheap as chips from Rock auto in the states.

Nice work.
My mates is the 6.3 ltr diesel and gets around 26 mpg while towing the heavy jensen on the 600kg trailer.

The Jensen has a lot of mods and runs 12.5 NA!
