I went to the EV meet at Ace this morning. There were some electric bicycles, and one electric Citroen which was out on a test drive. Some time later a couple of G-Wheezes turned up.

the bacon sarnies were, as usual, great.

That said, the Citroen was more fun to drive than the Leaf.

Well who wants to go to the Ace cafe to listen to washing machine motors whirring while you scoff a bacon sarnie? Most people go to see and hear great cars, not domestic transport appliances.

hehe Well I'm sure the owners enjoyed it !

Personally I prefer the Yank meets and the CHAV cruise nights always make me chuckle.

I didn't know they'll be ev meets as people who go to meets love their cars, and...I thought people always saw ev cars as a necessary evil or buy them because they hate good cars.

Honestly thousands wanted to go, but ran out of range and parked up on the north circ.

People who attend meets with other people from the Internet, are in no position to criticise others' choice in cars.
