new driver and insurance questions?

my sister in law works for mercedes and they are offering her a new smart fourtwo as her first car,
when she gets insurance does she say she owns the car? whos name on the log book? she will give it back after a year and get another car so thats a lease hire correct?

I have a private lease car and the problem I found was getting online quotes from the comparison sites, as there are very few that allow you to state that their is difference between the legal owner and registered keeper.

It doesn't seem to make much of a difference in quote prices though, but you do tend to need to speak to customer service rep to explain that the car is leased, rather than being able to buy it online.
