Books and literature forum.

Hi.

I have wondered for a while if a books and literature forum might be popular.

I can't be the only person who likes reading about cars as well as driving them, the sheer number of motoring books and magazines available would seem to support that but it's tricky to sort the interesting from the inane. I want a good book on American cars but where can I go to ask? I would hope members could discuss and upload brochures, owners manuals, old adverts etc. It would also give somewhere for the monthly 'My copy of Evo hasn't arrived yet!' thread to go. In my darkest fantasies, members would even discuss 'proper' literature...but one step at a time.

It seems odd to me we have a sub-section devoted to animals, but not to books. At least books have some sort of link back to cars.

I bet about 80% of the discussion would be on books and mags with no relevance to cars at all.

I am against any more sub-fora being created. There are far too many as it is - with lots of topic duplication and triplication all over the place - all the time.

It is on the list of ideas, as it is one of the few which doesn't overlap too much with the existing ones but still has a significant amount of topics that it could contain.

We aren't creating any more forums at the moment though, so it will need to wait until we are next looking at adding more.
