Speed per 1000rpm

Is there a table showing speed in each gear. My car appears to do 25mph per 1000 in fifth, is that correct?

I think the actual is 27 in 5th

I was seeing 75 on the satnav with 3000 on the tacho, is it possible that the latter is out?

I guess a better test is with the laptop connected - time to make up that lead.

25mph per 1000rpm, verified by GPS on mine. I would love a nice tall 6th gear with 30+mph for those longer trips!!

Anyone know the numbers for the other gears? Have just had the Quaife CR box fitted and would be interesting to do a comparison. The most obvious difference, in the short time I've had to drive it, is that the grand canyon between 2nd and 3rd seems to have closed up, which is great . Also 3rd gear sounds like a supercharger

if your diff has a final ratio of 3.43 it's 27 mls per 1000 rpm
if your diff has a final ratio of 3.73 it's 25 mls per 1000 rpm

calculated on 18" rims with 255/35 tyres.

I had to actually sit there, puzzled, draw a quick diagram, then break out a calculator... for the kind of maths I have to do on a daily basis, that is rather embarissingly daft (for me!)

Thinking about it, the Cerb was geared for 190ish... the T350 with less torque is geared for 200mph+ Something there isnt right!
