Now then.

I was planning on getting a small wad of Euros to take to Le Mans.

I still have a small amount of South African Rands left over from last year's holiday.

Is there anywhere that offers a direct conversion between the 2 currencies or am I going to have to convert the ZARs back to GBP and then into Euros paying 2 sets of shoddy exchange rates/commission/fees/etc?

Why can't you change it in the UK? FX places do tend to carry Euro's as well as GBP, funnily enough...

It's all moot anyway, I have counted up my 'big wad' of Saffer notes and it seems there was only 100-or so Rand there so less than a tenner.
