Quark Recipes!?
Discussion
I'm on one of my pre-summer fat-busting missions, and someone at the gym the other day mentioned Quark as being an excellent source of 'natural' protein as well as containing negligible anounts of fat, but jeez . . . it really is the most tasteless of cheeses.
I've yet to conjure up a recipe with which to add it as an ingredient, although I will add it to a banana smoothie later and see what occurs!
Does anyone have any recipes (not off the tinternet!) they are willing to share?

At home (my mother was German) it would be made into cheesecake, or mixed with chopped spring onions as a topping for a baked potato.
It needs a lot of seasoning to make it taste of anything, however there are a number of middle-eastern treatments for 'labne' - a kind of strained yogurt - you could steal from google and adapt.
Something I make a lot with yogurt, but which would equally work with quark (loosened with water) is cucumber raita:
1 cucumber peeled, deseeded and coarsely grated
1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds, toasted in a dry pan until nutty-smelling
1 green finger or Thai chilli, finely chopped
A few mint leaves, finely chopped
1/2 teaspoon of sugar, or more to taste
Tablespoon of fresh coriander leaves (optional)
Mix that lot together with the quark/water and use as a dip with crudités or toasted pitta bread.

The liquid from a grated cucumber should be enough to loosen the quark?1 cucumber peeled, deseeded and coarsely grated
1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds, toasted in a dry pan until nutty-smelling

Baked cheescake FTW, though!
