Hi All,need a bit of advice from the green fingered fraternity,I would like to plant a hedge between my property and next doors, there are already some liandi(?)trees seperating us from next door but they are virtually dead and my neighbour refuses point blank to let me remove them so i was thinking of planting a dense hedge that could possibly grow into and eventually cover (swamp) the existing trees if they flowered at all so much the better. Thanks in advance.

just ordered some laurel for the front of our house to match the other side of the driveway, i went for slightly larger plants rather than wait for them to grow, coming all the way from holland as i missed the are root season so bought pot grown hedges, these babies are 5ft tall and 2ft wide.

laurel, red robin hedge, privet maybe, i think laurel is the fastest growing of them all
