On the verge of buying a 2002 silver mini cooper, just standard at the minute with a chilli pack interior

I was thinking of
Union jack vinyl - £50
Union jack wing mirror covers - £50
White alloys?

Been looking at a few body kits bit steep though £1,000

Want to really keep the cost down but dont want it looking cheap.

Anyone have any ideas or anything i can use?

Thanks alot.

Be very careful on what you decide to do especially with body kits... Generally the best looking kit for the mini is actually the aero kits, any other kit will almost certainly drop the value of the car. Many of the kits are too fussy for the mini and do not suite it.

You may wish to pop over to mini torque forum and have a look at some of the cars on there, for very little money there are some cracking cars which may help to guide you.

Decals are fine and a cheap way to change the look of the car, wheels can be powder coated quite cheaply £20 - £30 per wheel.

Suspensions dropping can aid with the look of the car a lot.

But as honest advice take a look at the mini forums and see what is happening with the styling, decals have been done to death but I still like them. Body kits other than stock normally look rubbish
