Do you spend hours on autotrader going around in circles?
Discussion
I do.
I'd like a change of car, and i always start out on 3-series E90 M Sports, then i look at the 5 series estate, then the V50 Sport, then an A4 Avant S-Line etc etc.
I keep hoping i'll find some gem with less than 120k on the clock for less than 10 grand, but it never happens. I always then look at models within that price range but always have a much lower spec than what i want.
After this, i'll always have a quick nosey at something which is about £40k more than i can afford, then close the web browser and cry myself to sleep.
Ok, well all but that very last part.
I think i'm just a tight arse who wont pay realistic money for a car :P

Same here!!! After a Mk5 golf gti with xenon lights, none show up.So increase search distance to national. Smashing there's 2 listed 210 miles away from my postcode!! both not my prefered colour and half a billion miles on clock.I'd like a change of car, and i always start out on 3-series E90 M Sports, then i look at the 5 series estate, then the V50 Sport, then an A4 Avant S-Line etc etc.

i tend not to use the Autotrader site. its damn awful now. So slow to navigate. I actually much prefer browsing PH. though I hate it when traders use small photos, or no photos at all. (or stock photos that are all the same)
Have a +1 from me.I'd rather eat sick than use the new AT site. Ebay or PH, every time.
I don't think AT has an option to show newly listed vehicles first do they? I find myself going through the same rubbish I looked at days ago only to suddenly remember why I rejected it.
I take it their distances are worked out as the crow flies as well, one showed up as 80 miles the other day but was nearly double that when I checked the route planner.
It would be nice if someone developed something along the lines of property bee (for rightmove)for AT so you could track price changes, I spotted a Jag going up by £1k a couple of weeks ago.
