Evening all,

I started to sand the floor boards this evening only to find that the glue / adhesive used to stick down the fake 'wood tiles' left by the previous owner re-melts (not sure the correct term) and sets back on the floor board and also the sanding belt. Has anyone used some sort of solvent (similar idea to nitromors on paint) that will degrade the glue allowing me to easily scrape it up prior to sanding the floor?

Cheers
