Guys

What paint is used for sprayign interior items such as leather dash etc.

Ive sprayed the bodywork of cars many times, more than happy with the results. However teh interior poses a new problem. WHat paint do i use? Im guessing the answer isnt 2pac.

Ive heard acrylic mentioned but what is it exactly? can i just pop it in my gun and go?

Thanks in advance.

I use SEM colourcoat, they also manufacture a WB version. The down side is its a mixing scheme, however they do supply some colours in rattle cans. Any good paint factor should be able to order your preferred colour. For more in depth advice on procedures etc The SRF is a good place.

As 7even said the waterbased is called SEM Sure-coat, it is an elastomeric coating intended for leather and most flexible and rigid plastics.
I use this to great effect on leather repairs and recolouring of auto seats and dash/ door panels and is avalable mixed to order.
PM me if you need details
