Doesn't it say the helicopter landed on it's roof i.e. the helicopter was upside down. Not that it actually landed on the roof of the restaurant.

I did think when I read it that I was sure the Hotel was in a huge grounds and the pilot must have done a very good job to actually land ON the house!
