My Tuscan was first registered on May 8th 2000. Is anyone driving an earlier one? OK so mine has had a s
tload spent on it over the years, but it's going well these days and should have a good future. ( my dodgy driving skills aside). Would be interesting to see how many early ones are left alive.
Phill.

Mine is November 00. 47k miles rebuilt at 45k ish. Its on its 3rd clutch, second dash display, second pair of lambdas, second pair of front shocks, new alarm key fobs and all the minor stuff on top.
Think it must have been an ok spec too although not a red rose it has 330 mm brakes, full hide, aircon, hydratrack, reflex paint. I wish I had the original spec sheet.

I got mine on 6 June 2000( or was it the 8th, must check, mot due soon!), I'm sure they were delivering cars in early may, maybe early april. I think I drove the demo car at my dealers around february, there might be some info/pictures on the tuscan-owners yahoo group from around then.
That is right.
It is painted inside the engine bay.
I am told, but I do not know for sure, that it is the minty green Tuscan on the postcard size pro-mo fact sheet/sales blurb that TVR put out. Of which I have a copy.
The minty green paint has no relationship to the paint code on the TVR boot plate. And no, it has not been re-sprayed at any time. I did once see one other minty green MK1 somewhere, but that is the only other one that I have seen and it was newer than mine. So maybe my car is the one on the TVR post card.
If anyone knows the code for minty green, then PLEASE let me know it.
Thank you.
