My new wedge!!!!!!
Discussion
Hi guys just thought i would send a quick post as I am a newbie to this forum and a newbie to the TVRCC as well. I briefly owned a 400se 6 yrs ago but it was long enough for me to be smitten! After 5yrs of pining the missus finally gave up and now I have bought this...............

I hope you like it. 100k but full and extensive history. New hood, carpets, door cards and retrimmed seats too. Stainless exhaust and new adjustable coilovers on the rear. Drove almost 300 miles home when I picked it up with no problems. I'm realistic as to the potential trials and tribulations of wedge ownership but hey, you only live once!!
What do you guys think?
Cheers Jim

What a great looking car!!
Not being rude but you look a bit young IMHO - do you use cushions or a booster seat? Can recommend pedal extensions from Leven if you need.....
That must have been a lot of pocket money saved (insurance must be a nightmare...
On the plus side the lights are probably cr@p but you won't be driving it after bedtime anyway......
Hope you get out to play alot. Enjoy..........;)

Well thanks guys glad you like it. Let's hope it's as good as it looks. Today I have been adjusting the ride height on the rear as it was catching on the nearside. Simple enough.................. until you realise that the rear arches are not quite the same shape as each other!! What a surprise. This meant that the clearance between top of tyre and arch different on both sides, despite shocks adjusted the same. Keeping the body as flat as possible but adjusting both coilovers differently to stop it catching slightly trickier!
After that and whilst rear wheels were off I took the chance to clean up some patches of the chassis and waxoyled it including lower chassis plates and outriggers.
I see the BBWF is over a weekend but is it possible to turn up just for one day? Would the Saturday be best? Time is tight for me on that weekend.
