Its probably not a bad idea to get in touch with a local injector specialist to see how much they charge to test and clean them. At least you then know they work before fitting them. I believe that they clean them ultrasonically.
Yep, as far as I know injectors are cleaned ultrasonically. Such is the precision of the thing, and the minuteness of crap that could get stuck to it, the best way is definitely to get it done professionally.These guys did mine on the race car for about £12 each

Came back with a before and after graph, AND all the parts that were replaced
There was a 15% imbalance in flows before they were sent, and all spot on afterwards
