Road Trip Across America?...

Got three weeks over there in June and I'll have ticked that box in a Corvette, subject to not getting carjacked, drowned by the flooded Mississippi or blown away by a twister...

Owning an Ariel Atom is on there for me.

As is the Cannonball run (Gumball used to be until all the pretentious dheads started doing it and ruined the atmosphere for me)

Not fussed about driving a Lamborghini though if it is from this decade.

No. 1 and no. 4 are planned for later this year smile

I haven't driven Spa yet.

There are A LOT of things I'd add to that list though!

-Drive the 'ring when i'm 18 (plans to drive it now at 17 were scarpered by the driving age limit in Germany and France) so I will be off to the 'ring in 4 months and again before LeMans next year.

-Do a Trackday at SPA - Tagging along with TVR lads next year.

-Drive the Stelvio pass which I also plan to do before I turn 19

-Crash a hire/courtesy car

-Travel at over 200mph in a car (record so far is 178mph)

Probably many many things I have forgotten that i'd like to do hehe ......

1 - done
2 - done
3 - not fussed
4- done

Other than a handful of pre-war cars (the White Riley, there are none that I feel I really have to drive; I still have a few circuits to cross off though. Can't think of anything else I have to do before I kark it, car related or otherwise.

I've done the Ring, European driving trip and driven a Ferrari. Call it 2 and a 1/2 out of those 4 hehe

Some day I'd like to drive/ride the length of the Americas from Canada to Argentina.

I'd also add driving the circuit / attending Le Mans, Bathurst and the Indy 500 to the list along with competing in some kind of motorsport.

Plenty left on the bucket list then smile

I've been to the ring several times now.. but got plenty more I'd love to do!

  • Road trip in the states, in a Challenger / Mustang / Vette...
  • Italian road trip, Stelvio Pass, etc..
  • Do one of those organised supercar "tours" in a group around Europe.. just need a supercar first frown
