Autosport guide?

It's been a while since I looked for this - do Autosport still do a guide?

I'm sure I got one again last year. Funnily enough though I looked in Tesco if it was in this weeks, but apparently not.

I think it comes out the on the thursday though so if your already in France its a bit annoying

It's been pretty rubbish in recent years. A combination of the Club Arnage guide and the Radio Le mans preview podcasts does it for me.

It'll be the first Thursday in June so a good 10 days before the race.

Just checked a previous mag and the le mans special comes out on the 2nd June.

Yep as mentioned before, it comes out the first week of June so for those of us that leave a week before can have a copy as well :-)

What has happened to the club arnage guide this year? I seem to remember it was updated quite early last year. Quite a good little guide and definitely worth giving a donation.

Once I get the all clear from one of my contacts I will make the final/final version of my own spotters guide available and will be only too happy to send it out by email ( I have already distributed 35) Also Stephen's guide is brilliant I am sure he will happy to mail one for you guys...

It doesn't appear to be in this weeks... gutted. We'll already be in France by next Thursday. Any suggestions for alternative (available *now* - want to start getting even more excited) guides?

Try get one from Stephen and I will send you one sometime next week.... mine looks like this Stephen's is full of descriptions and as good as Autospor's

CA guide will be out June 1st around 7.00pm BST

Usually autosport gas been for sale or given away in the village area. Radio Le mans stand have sold them before, so you should be able to get hold if one at the race.

Usual autosport stuff though.. Fairly generic 24hrs guide, covers the bases but goes no further.

I used to buy it every year but the last couple have mot been much good, already have the michelin guide amd will print of the CA guide as usual

Has anyone managed to pick up a copy today? Every issue of Autosport in Smiths at East Croydon Station seemed to be missing the guide, although it was advertised as being inside on the magazine's masthead.

MrsDavetheMighty had the same problem in Chichester as well.

Not sure if the printer managed to overlook putting them in!

Just picked one up from Tesco in Sheffield. Small A5 size guide in the middle. It's the first time I've bought it so not sure if it's up to your usual expectations.

It is only A5 in size and fairly thin so blends in with the usual 'junk mail' inserts.
