The family bathroom bath tap always spurts out some brown water for about 4. Seconds before coming clear, I thought it might be the hot water tank, but if that was the case all taps should do it any ideas ??
Thx

Water staining, there is some iron pipe-work in the supply to the bathroom.

^Most likely cause.

Another thing worth checking, do you have a secondary return on your hot water circuit? If so check that a Bronze Pump is fitted to it and not a standard heating pump.

Thanks fellas the central hearing is fairly old will be replaced soon, it does not have a separate heating and hot water option, rather you have to switch the rad pump off to not heat the radiators..
I am thinking it's iron somewhere
