Ive been ice skating there but whats it like for a venue

Standing room only but will you see anything ? I am thinking abou taking my 10yo daughter who isnt very tall but am worried she might not even see anything ... Br grateful for any pointers

Cracking venue for music, have been a few times over the last couple of summers. I don't think your daughter would have a problem seeing the stage, usually plenty of room to stand back a little and still see the stage.
Its normally set at a reasonable height so although you may not want to be in with the crowd directly infront of the stage you can still get a good view from the sides or rear.

Are you taking her to a concert or a film?

I've been to a couple of film showings there - get there early, take cushions - and also a concert - again, take cushions.

She should be able to see fine but make sure you take cushions.

why the cushions ? surely everyone is standing
