Water temp error, small thing, big difference. Thanks Dom
Discussion
Ended up at TVR Power today thinking i had a bit of an issue, engine not starting well, idling badly and sounding just a little different.
Well...i figured i would pop by as i was in the Tuscan, see if Dom could throw any light on things.
He connected up the laptop, spotted the error on the temp sensor and diagnosed it as the problem within seconds, reset fault logs, adaptives and throttles and the car starts purring again!!
There was me thinking i would hae the bonnet off, tuning the throttle bodies, checking ignition etc. I quite chuffed!
Apparently the temp sensor error can make the ecu think the car is hot, and overfuels it. Flooded on start up and a poor AFR i guess.
Anyway, sorted, thanks very much again to Dom
