Hi guys, going to look at one today. 57 plate, space grey with black novillo leather, private owner, 58k miles, 2 previous owners, full BMWSH, recently new discs and pads and has an overall high spec including EDC. Im going to purchase a BMW insured warranty if I go for it. Are there any other pointers I need to be aware of? Its priced reasonably well at 25k. Thanks smile

Has its warranty expired already? I'm not sure you can restart once expired. Check with the dealer.

You can purchase warranty (subject to FBMWSH). At that mileage, make sure you purchase a monthly warranty. The cost jumps substantially (x 2.5 approx) at 60k miles but if you start a monthly policy whilst under 60k miles it will continue to run at the lower level. Should be around £90/month for fully comp, zero exces and breakdown cover.

I think you can as long as it is under a certain age and has full bm service history.

buy it buy it buy - is my advice biggrin

just had the third service on mine - and they recommended change to gearbox and diff oil. Not sure if that is standard or not.......might be worth checking it has been done a couple of times?

PS - great car for that money

It's standard for every 3rd oil change I believe. Had mine done last month.

Take a look at my blog on my E92, had some unusual issues with it, not to say they are all bad, but just check the odd little things

Thanks guys, ended up buying it, sitting on my drive now, to say its put a grin on my face is an understatement biggrin

Going to sort the BMW warranty out today, its around £110 per month but I think I read on the website somewhere that they will change the price after 12 months. Will check it out anyway.

read your blog mate.

Your issue with the rear disc noise, is a non issue. Its the automatic handbrake adjustment mechanism playing up and they all do it from time to time. Drive backwards for a while and it stops. Short of rebuilding every time there is no fix, and that doesn't prevent it. Its harmless.

Mine had it twice in a week two months ago, took it dealer, they looked blank, then I googled. Its call the "Cowbell"
