I've got a mains charger built-in to the car. Not sure what type it is as the car's elsewhere right now...

If you've got one fitted, how long would you have to leave yours on charge if you found the battery in low a state (just) to turn the engine over?

I plugged my Optimate into a very flat battery last night and at 10am this morning it was completely full.

Define low state ? Anything from 4 hours to overnight - all depends on the Ampage of the charger really.

They vary enormously. Barreti probably has an decent optimate charger. I had a battery conditioner which was great for keeping it in trim but very slow to charge if allowed to go flat, maybe two or three days.

Thanks. I've never used it myself, but I'm just vever getting round to driving her enough. The battery's at the stage where it's clicking but not engaging and turning over. It's a new battery, so no probs there.
