Stay up here Mondays and Wednesdays for work

Just came off J12 Westbound only for a copper on a bike to appear about 4 cars in front and hold the traffic for a few minuts, then a convoy came whizzing past -

Approx 4 police bikes, 3 police vans and a large army style truck with no markings in the middle of the lot of 'em

Aldermaston convoy I take it?

(almost 5 years working around here and thats the first I've seen!)

Yes, I'd guess so. Just come back from there and saw the bike on the roundabout by the caravan place.

I've seen them do this on a couple of occasions at j11 aswell.

Although the roundabout that they used to block off to get the van through now has a set of traffic lights so, assume that this would be easier for them at rush hour.

ETA - thinking about it, I've only ever seen them doing that at rush hour (that's not to say they don't transport nukes at other times) wouldn't it be alot easier for them to try and get through those junctions in the middle of the night?

The trucks I've seen are the same colour but smaller. Around the same size and shape as the White prisoner vans
