small front number plates

anyone one konw where i can get a small front plte for my griff?

I got mine from a motorcyle show. Try any motorcycle rally/event. It's the BMF motorcycle rally this weekend in Peterborough (if you are into bikes). I need to get one myself for my cerb(due to a registration change I am going through at the moment). Ive had a small front plate for over a year now and haven't been pulled by the police yet. Fingers crossed.

On a similar note, does anyone have any pics of a griff with a stick-on number plate (a la E-type etc). I was considering it but wanted to see what it looked like first.

there was an early pre-cat Griff in dark blue for sale in the classifieds with a stick on front plate - dunno if its still in there

TMS's red racing Griff has one. I've got a small front plate on mine, make up with motorcycle letters on a cut down car front plate. It's mounted in the usual place and is less restrictive on the air flow to the raditor.

Hmmm, dont know if I really like that. It makes the air intake look tiny. If the intake was enlarged aswell then it would perhaps look ok. Also the plate interrupts the nice lines of the nose cone. Think I'll stick with it the way TVR intended.

I've got a stick on, motorcycle sized one on the bonnet of my Cerbera (see profile picture - current car).

I got it from some people down at Blackbushe market, two days wait and it arrived in the post!

Unless u have a fancy reg why not go for the ahemm 'it fell off ossifer' look and pop it into your boot in case u get stopped


Else just go to your local motor factors and they'll knock one up for you for a resonable price.
