Well we have the Hawks out of valley most days but I have never seen a F15 in these parts. I live on a hill and I was looking down on him and Hawks never go that low.
It fantastic ....the noise...banked it hard right out over the sea towards Ireland and the tip of the Llyn Peninsula and lit it up.....proper..

Whenever I'm up Snowdonia it seems to be Hawks a plenty and not much else. I live in the south and over the years have seen plenty of F15s (and even the odd A10) blasting over the Brecons. Although F15s are getting on in age I still think they're amazing, a proper proven 'hard as nails' brawler. The only plane I've never seen is the Typhoon (possibly because we don't have any pilots and only a handful of airworthy planes!).

They were in the loop on Wednesday at around 5.15pm. Awesome sound, will post some images up soon in my Mach loop thread

I remember being on a hilltop near Berwick as a kid and being buzzed by 2 F15s. I think I ducked out of instinct! Epic.
