Not sure if it shown down in Englandshire, but "The Scheme" is being broadcast again on BBC Scotland, it's also avaiable on BBC IPlayer

http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b00sj713/The_...

Last time the series had to be taken off air due to some of the "characters" illegal activities.

Great piss boiling TV

Bump

The BBC in it's wisdom has decided to broadcast "The Scheme" to the entire nation

Tuesday 14 June
11:05pm - 11:55pm
BBC1

It will be interesting to read some of the fall out in the press down south over this.

I've just watched the Scheme thanks to UK Nova, I doubt there will be any fallout from down south, no one south of Berwick will be able to understand a word of it without a translator.

I lived in Niven Court, at the top end of New Farm Loch, when it was brand new, nearly 40 years ago, while the bypass was being built, fk me it's gone downhill since.

The programme claims to be set in one large scheme, but it is actually filmed in three separate schemes, and the makers have selected the roughest bits of the schemes for the 'atmosphere' shots.

It portrays Kilmarnock as a chav-infested drug-ridden sthole of a town, which is a long way from the truth.

Just watched this - jesus what a way to live. That mother with the young girl who lies in bed smoking when her kid should be in school wants having up for it ... and letting that nobhead of a yob live at her house - warrant out an' all - they know where the kids lives - Chris was it - he ain't long for this world - and who would care?

Have some compassion for the dad who is trying to hold it all together but come on mate, in that environment, the kids have no chance. Come on Cameron - do something with these places even if it is just flatten them.

No substitute for educashun, sorry - precious littel of it up there - young mums on the social - it really is like one big game to them ... on my taxes.

Saw the 2nd episode on iPlayer, and recorded last nights to watch later.

Not sure why some people get sub-titles, and others don't, perhaps the production company couldn't understand them to be able to add the subtitles.

Anyone know where I can find the 1st episode to watch?

They all apper to make themselves permanently miserable by constantly consuming fags, alcohol and illegal drugs.
The guy just let of prison. He blamed getting drunk for the violent behaviour that got him locked up. So what do his family do when he gets out? Organise a piss up party to celebrate. At least the old boy and his house proud misses showed that you don't have to live in a st-hole.

It reminds me of The Corner, but unlike the HBO drama you dont care about the characters. The Corner was much easier to understand and had less junkies.

Frankly it is a bit shocking and a useful demonstration of how not to live imho.

equally good advert for darwinism but unfortunatly they don't seem to feel the need to restrict breeding activities...

and that little chris guy - I don't think I could tire of punching him in the face...
