Good Restaurants In Manchester
Discussion
Looking for recommendations for good restaurants in Manchester.
Requirements are won't break the bank (under £40 pp), good food, decent atmosphere, a bar on site or close by would be a bonus.
Need to book 2 places. One for a Saturday evening, the other for a Sunday evening.
Considering Michael Caines @ Abode as a bit of direction although I've heard mixed reviews.

Bem Brasil
You go there, sit down and they bring unlimited amounts of beautifully BBQ'd meat straight to your table to carve. Great atmosphere and great value when you consider what's on offer. Not for veggies and not for 'girly' girls. Man meal.

San Carlo, off Deansgate. Within your budget (which I doubt Michael Caines would be). Never had any cause for complaint there and I go there a lot. Consistantly good food. Pity about the "Blue" shirted footballers dining there though! Ballotelli was there last time I went. Couldn't find a bowl of spaghetti quick enough to toss on him!
If you like your steaks then you may have to venture out to Oldham or Saddleworth to be more specific and try the Old Original, It is a pub plopped on the top of a hill in Scouthead but i promise you, you wont get a better steak for the money anywhere.
Booked solid for two weeks especially at weekends, you never get an empty table, Not just huge portions but utterley delicous and that extends to all meals not just steaks.
