Would just like to say, having owned a chimera for approx 3 weeks now, have had all the usual problems after reading the forums of idle etc etc....have just come back from a rolling road tune, what a difference....had considered all these chips etc but trust me, restore all your lost HP first!....

On the way back just had a slight run in with a certain lamborghini from the lights, lets say he was faster but my £10K chimera wasnt that far behind his £130K pimp machine....

Awesome cars, thank you all for excellent knowledge!

Where was the rolling road session and what did you have done, and at what cost?

Yeah,
where did you go for that.
Particularly interesting as your profile shows you are from Worcestershire and I'm in Cardiff

Rolling road was done locally by a guy who is just setting up, he used to work at TVR, he completely set up the timing (out by a mile), fuelling and usual stuff. I replaced the leads, plugs, cap, arm, and surpresors (if thats right), these caused my car major problems as they had broken down inside....following a large rolling road session it is a flyer now!..i have all my 240 horses back, its so smooth and pulls like a train now! I will speak to the bloke and see if he wants me to publish his details, as for price, well lets say for me it was mates rates...he would be very reasonable....
