I have a Gucci 'G' watch that I wear everyday and the bracelet is a bit manky with ingrained dirt and fluff. I know there are a million jewellery cleaners out there but does anyone have any tricks on how to get it sparkling again? I can't detach the bracelet but the watch is waterproof.

Just give it a wash, you pansy. No lotions, or ointments required! hehe

ultrasonic cleaning bath works a treat. Or just wear it when you go in the shower.

Old toothbrush, bar of soap, warm water.

Leave on an old towel on the windowsill to dry.

Take the bracelet off to reach all the nooks and crannies if you can.

I use one of the little brushes that are supplied with an electric shaver, perfect for the job.

Statement of the obvious I hope - but bracelet only (not the watch head) in an ultrasonic cleaner.

Indeed, it's a proper watch specific one with stand etc.

Either wear it in the shower or a toothbrush and some mild soap.

Obviously only if your watch is halfway water resistant.

and use the Mrs' toothbrush, obviously. Having seen the places my watch has been, my toothbrush isn't going anywhere near it biggrin
