blowing front manifold.

Hey all,
Think I've got a blowing front manifold!! Gutted!!
Any quick fix solutions, or anywhere where I can get a replacement?

Weld it up or sped shed loads on new st stl ones?

hi Jay,

best to get it removed and a plate welded over it to strengthen it

just check the bolts have not come loose first

remember if you drive it like that there is a risk that some material can flake off and go through your turbo...........end of turbo

Check the exhaust brackets and engine mounts.

Had a de cat pipe put on recently and the horrible blowey noise happened when I got home, so thanks for the comments, I'll check the bolts etc, before shelling out big bucks on a replacement.

manifold nuts always come undone on mine have now replaced with copper nuts that dont come undone but can only be used once

Are they special for manifolds ? or just normal ?

erm in not that sure to be honest think there for manifolds

They can be used on any part of the exhaust as they don't rust like the cheap steel ones do. I always change mine on any car I have, I also change the studs and bolts to stainless, makes removing them a doddle.
