What's the described button for?

I have a focus RS Mk2, and today when wiring in a snooper evolution i noticed a small button, located underneath and to the right of the Diagnostics port, it's behind a small circular cover. It feels like some sort of priming pump off a generator (sort of a switch covered by a rubber jacket - bad description i know)

Does anyone have a clue what this does?

Emergency fuel cut off I think. When the engine gets a shock it trips and shuts off the fuel pump etc. The button resets it and switches on the fuel again.
